Apple v. Samsung Case Will Spark Innovation

With the recent court decision upholding Apples patents, some are worried that Apple will have a relative monopoly over the mobile phone market.  While this might be a valid concern in the short-term, it will likely lead to innovation in a new and exciting direction.  It should cause mobile phone makers to stop chasing the look and feel of competitor devices in favor of an entirely new design. Why should Apple get all the points for creativity in the mobile phone market? In order to not run afoul of these patents in their fight for market share, phone makers will be forced to create something inspired that takes our breath away.
